Konami Digital Entertainment Limited (KONAMI) ประกาศเปิดตัว SILENT HILL 2 เกมรีเมคจากเกมสยองขวัญจิตวิทยาจากปี 2001 ที่หลายคนรอคอย โดยเกมดังกล่าวได้วางจำหน่ายแล้วบน PlayStation®5 และ PC ผ่านทาง STEAM® เกมที่พัฒนาโดย Bloober Team นักแต่งเพลง อากิระ ยามาโอกะ และศิลปินแนวคิดเกมนี้ มาซาฮิโร อิโต้ ได้นำเสนอเมืองอันน่าสะพรึงกลัวที่ปกคลุมไปด้วยหมอกหนาทึบซึ่งขณะนี้พร้อมให้เล่นแล้ว เกมภาครีเมคนี้มาพร้อมกับภาพ เสียง และวิธีการเล่นที่ได้รับการปรับปรุงให้ดีขึ้นจากเกมต้นฉบับ
